1. These terms
By using Gourmang, you agree to these terms.
2. Who can use Gourmang
You must be 16 or older. Ages 16–18 can log meals and explore food information without automated nutrition or weight targets. Optional automated planning is available from age 19.
3. Not medical advice
The targets, food log and quality scores are general nutrition information based on published science. They are not personalised medical advice and do not replace a healthcare professional. Speak to one before making significant dietary changes, particularly if you have a medical condition, take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or have a history of disordered eating.
4. Accuracy
Food data comes from public and community databases, nutrition tables, contributions from other users, and AI analysis of your text and photos. Any of it can be incomplete, outdated or wrong; anything the AI estimated is labelled as an estimate. Check entries before relying on them, especially where accuracy matters for allergies, medication or medical care.
5. What you submit
You are responsible for the meal descriptions, photos, custom foods and corrections you submit, and must have the right to share them. By contributing to the shared food database, you allow us to publish your contribution and keep it after account deletion without naming you as its author. We may review, edit, reject or remove any submission.
6. Your account
Keep access to your account secure and your contact details up to date. You can end your agreement with us at any time by deleting your account in the app’s settings.
7. Changes to the service
We may update, suspend or discontinue parts of Gourmang, including features, data sources, calculations and scoring methods. We may restrict access or remove content where needed to operate the service, enforce these terms, or protect users.
8. Subscriptions
Gourmang is free to use, with an optional paid subscription for some features.
Your app store sells and bills your subscription. It renews automatically for the same period until you cancel, with payment at the start of each period. We never see or store your payment details.
Cancel at any time in your app store account settings. This stops the next renewal; your access continues until the paid period ends. Deleting your Gourmang account does not stop subscription billing. You must also cancel in the store.
Your app store handles refunds under its policy. You will be notified before a price change and can cancel before it takes effect. Price changes apply from your next renewal, not to a period already paid for.
Because the store is the seller, any statutory cancellation or withdrawal right you have as a consumer applies to your contract with the store and is exercised there, under its terms.
If you downloaded Gourmang from Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as our services or legal requirements change. We will notify you of significant changes before they take effect and ask for your acceptance when required by law.
